Application

Majors & Study Period

 

1.      Undergraduate programs, 4 or 5 years

Start in each September, Application period: March 1 to July 20 each year.

The degree student who has completed all courses according to academic curriculum and gained enough credit hours will be awarded a diploma as well as a bachelor's degree certificate in accordance with the Academic Degree Regulations of the People’s Republic ofChina. Those who failed to meet the academic requirements will be issued a certificate of completion of studies provided in conformity with relevant regulations.

2.      Programs for General advanced students, half a year to two years.

Start in each September and February.

Application period: March 1 to June 20 (for September admission), October 8 to December 20 of previous year (for February admission).

Programs for Language students, half a year to two years. (Please contact the Admission Office for detail.)

 We provide Chinese language courses for international students. Our professional Chinese teachers will help the students master the language in listening, speaking, reading and writing. In order to guarantee the teaching quality and effect, we will divide the students into 8 different classes of low, middle and high levels according to their Chinese language proficiency. The number of students in each class will be strictly kept small.

3.      Short-term Chinese Training Program

The training program lasts from 2 weeks to 8 weeks according to trainees’ needs and requirements. Apart from language training, this program would usually arrange various cultural activities and travels upon students’ request. Group applications are welcomed all the year round.

Those who wish to enter advanced studies in Chinese or a short-term cultural training program can contact the Admission Office at any time.

A non-degree student will be issued a certificate of completion of studies upon conclusion of learning provided the relevant requirements have been met. One who has failed to meet the requirements will be issued a transcript.

1. Diploma and transcripts should be in Chinese or English. Versions in other languages need to be translated into Chinese or English and should be notarized.

2. Applicants should be healthy and in good behavior, have proper educational background and Chinese language ability (note: language requirement is not for the students who are going to learn Chinese language here and graduate students who will take courses in English).

3. Those who want to enter Chinese Language undergraduate programs from the second year should have at least passed HSK Level 3. And HSK Level 6 is required for those who want to enter Chinese Language undergraduate programs from the third year. A copy of HSK Certificate should be submitted together with other document required.
